McGinn's Pistachio Tree Ranch is actually located in the vicinities of Alamogordo. However, it takes less than 1.5-2 hours to get there from El Paso.
The Pistachio Ranch is famous for the largest pistachio in the world (see the picture). Here you can find pistachios with all kinds of flavors: hot green and red chile, garlic, ranch, lime, and more. The store is surrounded by fields of pistachio trees and vineyards. So, McGinn's Pistachio Tree Ranch is not just a place to buy pistachios. It is also well known for its wines. You can sample different kinds of wine before buying any. The store is also full of handmade products, candies, nuts, gifts and souvenirs from New Mexico.
This little place on the highway can offer so much to see and try that you might find yourself spending more time tasting wine and buying big bags of pistachios than you planned to.

I love this place
I love this place. They have all kinds of pistacios and they are cheaper than in other places. Whenever we go to Alamogordo, we stop there.
It's a nice place
It's a nice place. My boyfriend and I drive by sometimes on the way to Alamogordo. I've never seen pistachio trees like the one in the picture though, only the vines. Do those pistachios look like that at a certain time of the year? very pretty
