Last night we've witnessed an amazing phenomenon in El Paso - lunar eclipse. The unique thing about this eclipse is that it took place on winter solstice – the longest winter night. There hasn't been one like that in more than 350 years. If you want to see such spectacles in the future, the best thing to do is get out in the desert and use binoculars.
If you did not stay awake to enjoy lunar eclipse this time, watch our video to see what you missed. =)

The purpose of the event is to raise people's awareness about teenagers who are wrongfully convicted in court and sentenced to life in prison. The event is organized to provide moral support to Daniel Villegas, who is currently serving his life sentence in Texan prison for a crime he did not commit.

El Paso is one of the best cities to live in. Our crimes are low, our weather is pleasant, and our people are the friendliest. That being said we all understand that we live in a desert. Hot and humid is now a way of life for us.

This wonderful Mexican tradition that has been passed on to us from generation to generation continues to flourish. When we women turn 15years old our family has a grand birthday party called ''Quinceañera” complete with a church presentation, food, and dancing the night away.
